Garlic Herb Chicken with Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and butter.

  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes, basting with the sauce.

  5. Serve hot with your choice of sides, like roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
