
Grilled Pork Ribs with Onion Bread, Fried Potatoes, and Salad
Ingredients:
For the Grilled Pork Ribs:
- 1 kg pork ribs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
For the Onion Bread:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (7g) dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp butter (for brushing)
For the Fried Potatoes:
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
For the Fresh Salad:
- 1 cup lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Grilled Pork Ribs:
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the marinade all over the pork ribs and let them marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight for best flavor).
- Preheat the grill or oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Grill the ribs for about 30-40 minutes, flipping occasionally and brushing with extra BBQ sauce.
- Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
2. Make the Onion Bread:
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and chopped onion. Knead until a soft dough forms.
- Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Shape into a loaf and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes.
- Brush with melted butter while still warm.
3. Cook the Fried Potatoes:
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced potatoes and fry until golden brown and crispy.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and paprika.
4. Prepare the Fresh Salad:
- In a bowl, combine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
- Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.
- Toss and season with salt and pepper.
5. Serve and Enjoy!
